Residential Structure Fire 411 E Chestnut St Johnson City TN

The Johnson City FD responded to a house fire on 411 E Chestnut St. The Department sent four engine companies, two ladder companies, a command vehicle, and a air support unit to the scene. Washington County EMS responded for assitance. There were no civilian or departmental injuries. Dispatch time was 04:59:02 with the first arriving unit taking command at 05:03:55. The fire was contained to the structure of origin. The residence received smoke damage throughout the structure and received about fifty percent fire damage. The cause of the fire was combustibles too close to a wall mounted bathroom heater. The fire started in the bathroom at the wall heater.
