The Johnson City Fire Department responded to a report of house fire at 705 Wilson Ave.
The call was received at 03:25 am and the first engine arrived within 4 minutes. Upon arrival, heavy black smoke was showing from the front of the house.
The fire was found in a bathroom, near a wall heater. The exact cause is undetermined at this time and will be investigated further by the Johnson City Fire Marshals Office.
The house sustained minor fire damage with moderate heat and smoke damage.
The occupants escaped from the fire and there were no injuries.
The department responded with 3 Engines, 2 Trucks and a Incident Command Vehicle.
