426 Lamont House Fire

On 05/03/2017 at 7:08 P.M. units from the Johnson city Fire Department were dispatched to 426 Lamont St on a house fire. E4 arrived at 7:11 P.M. and reported smoke and fire showing from the second floor of a two story structure. E4 made entry and found fire in an upstairs apartment. The fire was extinguished in approximately 20 minutes. The fire was contained to the room of origin.

One civilian was transported by Washington County/Johnson City EMS. No fire personnel were injured.

Johnson City Fire Department responded with 9 personnel on 3 engines and 4 personnel on 2 ladders and 1 shift Captain.

2 civilians were displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal divisions. WCJC EMS, JCPD, and JC power assisted.
