The Johnson City Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 2807 S Roan St, Lot 18 on 8 Jun 11. First arriving units reported smoke conditions and were able to achieve a rapid knockdown of the fire to effectively contain the fire to the kitchen area. Smoke damage existed throughout the structure. The fire began in the wall and is still under investigation by the Johnson City Fire Department's Fire Marshal Office. There were no reported firefighter or civilian injuries. Three Engines, One Ladder, 1 Rescue Unit, and 1 Command Vehicle responded to the incident delivering a total of fourteen personnel to the scene. Ventilation was conducted to remove smoke and heat. Dispatch time was 16:11:48, with the first unit to arrive on scene at 16:17:22. The fire was controlled at 16:22:11, with the last unit clearing the scene at 17:20:23.
