On Tuesday, April 19th, the Johnson City Fire Department responded to 1301 College Heights Road on a house fire.
A passerby reported smoke from the roof area of the house.
The first unit arrived within three minutes of dispatch and advised that there was light smoke coming from the attic area of the house. The fire was extinguished quickly and contained to the attic area by 13 firefighters.
Three engines, one ladder and a manpower unit responded to the scene.
No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.
